LIFT: developing drone airframes at scale

IONA leads LIFT, a €3.8 million consortium project with ÉireComposites and TU Dublin, funded through Ireland’s Disruptive Technologies Innovation Fund. The partners are developing composite materials and manufacturing processes for drone airframes.

In its January update, CREST Technology Gateway confirmed that the consortium had held the project kickoff and begun planning the first stages of work.
