About IONA

IONA will mitigate 460Mt of CO2e emissions just in the US and Europe. It has a double impact in rural areas, decarbonating logistics and reducing car dependency. Contrary to cities, home delivery reduces CO2e emissions in places where customers avoid driving individually to stores, but low volumes make it difficult to amortise costs and increase the CO2e emissions per kilo transported.

Inspired by the Isle of Iona, a remote, rugged island off Scotland’s coast. We saw a place of extraordinary beauty and human resilience. Held back by broken logistics, Slow deliveries, High costs and Poor access to essentials.

We asked:
What if geography didn’t dictate opportunity?
What if world-class delivery reached everyone not just the conveniently located?

That vision became IONA.
